When you access our platform, we automatically collect:

- Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent on platform

We use the information we collect to:

AI Processing & Your Images
Our platform uses artificial intelligence to generate virtually staged images. Here's what you should know:
- Your images are processed through OpenRouter, an AI gateway service, which routes requests to AI models from providers including Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude)
- Images are used solely for generating your staged photos and are not used by Listing Stager to train AI models
- Third-party AI providers (Google, Anthropic) have their own privacy policies governing how they handle API data. We use API access that is designed not to use your data for model training
- You retain ownership of your original and staged images
- We log AI processing metadata (model used, processing time, token usage) for service monitoring and cost tracking, but do not retain your image content in these logs
Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate our platform:
- Convex — Database, file storage, and authentication services
- Stripe — Payment processing. Your payment card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers
- OpenRouter — AI model gateway for image generation and analysis
- Google (Gemini) — AI image generation for virtual staging
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI vision models for image analysis and validation
- Resend — Transactional email delivery (e.g., listing completion notifications)
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We select providers that meet appropriate security and privacy standards.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers — Third parties who help us operate our platform (payment processing, cloud hosting, AI processing, email services)
- Legal requirements — When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
- Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Account data — Retained while your account is active
- Property images — Original photos, staged photos, and intermediate processing files are retained for the duration of your subscription
- Transaction records — Retained as required for legal and accounting purposes
- AI processing logs — Metadata about AI requests (model, timing, cost) retained for service monitoring; image content is not stored in logs
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your Account Settings page. When you delete your account:
- Your profile information is permanently deleted
- All your listings and photos (original, cleared, staged, watermarked) are permanently deleted from our storage
- Your active subscription is cancelled immediately
- Some anonymized analytics data may be retained

Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Secure password hashing
- Regular security assessments

Your Rights

Self-Service Options
From your Account Settings, you can:
- Update your name, phone number, and profile photo
- Enable or disable email notifications
- Manage your subscription and billing through Stripe's customer portal
